The Best of Cabo

Hotels-

Resort at Pedregal- I can not say enough of about this resort! I enjoyed every second of being there.  Every room has a mini pool and every day between 4-5 they bring you chips, guacamole and Corona's for you to enjoy. The staff remembers you by name and room number. The fridge is stocked, the beach is pristine, and the hotel grounds are meticulously taken care of.  They have an adult pool and a children's pool as well as golf carts on the property to drive you around, and did I mention the wait staff, yeah the amazing wait staff are everywhere. The staff greet you with Margaritas when you arrive and send you with cookies as you leave. I was able to try out the spa as well, it was amazing! Again, A+ amenities.  It has a steam room, jacuzzi, mineral pool, sauna, and a private area to lay out and relax for spa guests.

The only major downside I experienced was not being able to swim in the ocean in front of the resort due to the tides being crazy.  Otherwise I wholeheartedly recommend this resort. The price tag is steep but the amenities and the wait staff make it a worthwhile investment.

Esperanza- A 5-star hotel in Cabo.  This one is slightly bigger and has five great restaurants on site overlooking the ocean. The grounds here are well maintained and are beautiful as well.  The pools with swim-up bars were terrific and the attention was amazing. Nothing is overlooked. This hotel has golf carts to escort you around the property as well. Which was a huge plus as this complex; this is quite a bit bigger than the Pedregal.

Things to Do:

Boat Taxi to Arch-

Taking a water taxi to the arch and Lovers beach is a must when in Cabo.  Make sure you negotiate the price beforehand and come prepared with any water, umbrellas, towels, and food you will need. You might even be able to see seals and dolphins on the way!.

Camel Ride in Desert-

Riding a camel in the desert is something you only think about doing in Asia or Africa, but turns out you can also do it in Cabo! Riding a camel in the desert, next to the ocean was amazing, but paring that with a nature hike and a camel kiss at the end, bucket list item.

Ediths-  The food is fantastic! The atmosphere is lively, colorful and fun. They are famous for their delicious seafood and steaks. You have to try the Mexican Coffee, it is quite a show, full of caffeinated flames. Make sure and make reservations!

Flora Farms- I have wanted to go here ever since I saw Sydney Bass’s wedding pictures. It is a beautiful farm to table restaurant with spa, shops and a bakery on the top of a mountain in Cabo. It has a ton of great places for picutures. The menu was mostly Italian and pizza but was delicious. The only downside is how far it is from Cabo. Settle into a 45 minute cab ride from town.

Happy Endings- This a perfect dive bar to start the night at, dollar bills all over the walls and a fun name.

Cabo Wabo- Sammy Hagar's bar is a must do in Cabo. Stop by, do a shot (or two) and see who is playing. You never know who will show up and if you are in the mood to dance this is the place.

Can’t end this without giving a shout out to my friends at My Cabo Vip, John and Siobhan. If you need help with anything I have listed above or want to rent a boat or a yacht, go fishing, whale watching, need transportation, want help setting up the perfect night out; they are your people. They are from the States but live in Cabo so you definitely feel safe with them. www.mycabovip.com
